Spring Drill

It's time to knock off the rust! Our Spring Drill for the OVCWA and the 19th U.S. is scheduled for the weekend of April 24th and 25th. It will be held at Ray Schmid's farm near Lewisburg Ohio. Saturday will be for the Infantry and Sunday will be for Artillery. Start time each morning will be at 9:30 am.

This is the same location where we had Spring Drill last year in 2009.

Notes:

• Please bring any extra gear that you can to help with any new members that will be in our ranks.
  

• Please bring a few pieces of firewood if you can. It will help out tremendously!
  

• Ray is willing to cook breakfast and lunch besides having the normal coffee rations available.
  

Schedule:

• Saturday for Infantry will begin at 9:30 am
  

• Sunday for Artillery will begin at 9:30 am

• From Indianapolis- I-70 east into Ohio to exit 14 (Lewisburg, West Alexandria, St. Rt. 503). Turn right on 503 (south) go about 3 miles. Turn left  (east) on Pyrmont Rd. Go 1 mile to farm. Long lane on left. OVCWA  sign will be on mail post. The address is: 7167 Pyrmont Road. Note: On 503 north and south Pyrmont Road is marked with yellow road sign before you get to it.
  

• From Dayton North-  I-70 & I-75 interchange. Take I-70 west to exit 14 (Lewisburg, West Alexandria, St. Rt. 503) Turn left on 503 go about 3 miles. Turn left (east) on Pyrmont Rd. Go 1 mile to farm. Long lane on left. OVCWA  sign will be on mail post. The address is: 7167 Pyrmont Road.
