-Although heavy rain all weekend moved us and our displays into the museum, we still managed to conduct another great Living History event. Here, Jan Ketron takes a break after setting up the gun display before the museum opened for the day.

Living History
Educational Week

May 12th - 15th, 2009

-The Ohio Valley Civil War Association set up camp at Heritage Village in Sharon Woods for the Educational Week school program despite the soggy conditions.
-Willard discusses Civil War artillery with the help of Richard to a school group that came up to Cincinnati on a field trip from Atlanta, Georgia.
-Willard and Richard "don't need no stinking raincoats" as they teach Living History artillery to a school group at Heritage Village in Sharon Woods.
-The kids take what they have learned and work the positions on the cannon for a mock firing demonstration during the Educational Week school program at Heritage Village in Sharon Woods.
-Pat and Rufus discuss the food items that a soldier would have eaten during the Civil War.
