Glendower
Living History

August 1st & 2nd, 2009

-Lieut. Fred Lynch and Barbara Lynch work the crowd as they did all weekend with an impressive display of Civil War era artifacts. Both of them have shown that they are excellent teachers of living history and have quickly become a great addition to the group.

-The Glendower Mansion in Lebanon, Ohio was the site of the OVCWA Living History encampment again in 2009. Built in 1840 it is one of Ohio's finest examples of residential Greek Revival Architecture.

-While most of the OVCWA camped at Glendower, member Pat Taylor camped at the Preble County Fair. He continued to relentlessly play his part as a diligent and loyal recruiter for the cause as can be seen here at his booth at the fair which doubled as a recruit post.
